On the Day - Your Appointment
A private consultation is most commonly arranged following a referral from your General Practitioner (GP) or other medical specialist. If possible, please provide details of your insurer, authorisation number or letter of guarantee, to Mr Sandhu’s personal assistant (PA), prior to your appointment. It is extremely helpful to bring along previous medical reports, test results and a list of current medications to your appointment.
An initial consultation will typically last about 30 minutes, and a follow up consultation 20 minutes. This will include time for examination and outpatient procedures if required. There is always a qualified nurse assigned to the clinic. Please ask for a chaperone at any time during your visit.
Following your consultation, a medical report will be sent to your referring specialist, GP and a copy to yourself, unless you advise us otherwise.
Professor Sandhu is recognised by all the major medical insurance companies and has direct payment facilities with most of them. The outpatient procedures (listed below) are usually paid for by your insurer.
If you are self-funding, Professor Sandhu will charge for his consultation and an additional charge for any procedure. Please be aware that the clinic or hospital will make a separate charge for the use of the equipment (‘facility charge’) and this can vary. Please ask Professor Sandhu’s PA for more information regarding these charges.
We accept all major Credit and Debit cards as well as cash.
